Exhibits and Demos
CVPR has traditionally had both exhibits and demos. Both exhibitors and demonstrators are required to staff their tables during all three days of the conference. Two staff members per table are required.
During the conference there is little discernable difference between exhibits and demonstrations. The main difference between the two categories is that exhibitors generally are not presenters in the technical sessions, whereas demonstrators generally are. Thus for exhibitors, two complimentary registrations are included with the exhibit fee (as their staff are generally not separately registered for the conference). Whereas for demonstrators, there is no fee but there are also no included registrations. A demonstrator must have two registered conference attendees in order to have their demo approved.
Prospective exhibitors should fill out and submit an exhibitor form, as described in the exhibitor prospectus (pdf).
Prospective demonstrators should fill out and submit a demo application (pdf) (this is the new copy, updated April 20th), after first registering for the conference technical program. Do not submit a demo application without first registering two demo staff for the conference.
In the event that there are more applications for demos and exhibits than the available space allows, time of submission of the complete application will be used in selection. The conference also reserves the right to select exhibits and demonstrations based on degree of appropriateness for CVPR.
The exhibit and demonstration room for CVPR 2006 is anticipated to be directly adjacent to the technical program space (but the conference cannot responsible for changes beyond our control).
